Renovations and satisfied tenants at S IMMO Hungary’s office buildings in Budapest
Recent months have been a very successful period for S IMMO Hungary, one of Hungary’s top real estate groups. Many new tenants have arrived in the properties owned and managed by the company, and many existing tenants have renewed their leases for a total area of almost 8,000 m². Renovation work at the sites has also continued apace, including the renewal of common areas and offices in several buildings, along with the modernisation of building engineering systems.
Headquartered in Vienna, S IMMO AG has been operating on the Hungarian market for 10 years now, through its Hungarian subsidiary S IMMO Hungary, which manages almost 100,000 m² of commercial property, including seven centrally located office buildings in Buda and Pest, and the Budapest Marriott Hotel.
One of the key reasons why many of S IMMO’s tenants have remained faithful to their offices for more than a decade, and in some instances for more than 20 years, is that S IMMO Hungary continually invests in its properties. Numerous upgrading and renovation projects were carried out in the buildings in 2013 and work continues in 2014.
The goal of these projects is to ensure that the offices meet the standards of the 21st century: environmental awareness is the dominant aspect of the upgrades to building engineering and the aesthetic renovations. River Estates: “A” category services with energy conservation
Within the framework of a nearly EUR 2 million investment project, practically the entire engineering system was upgraded at the River Estates office building. In order to ensure tenants’ comfort and minimise operational costs, a VRV heat pump was installed for the HVAC system. With this new equipment, the office building offers “A” category services while lowering energy consumption by 10-30 per cent. City Center: renovation of common areas
Located at the intersection of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and Andrássy út, the City Center building underwent a complete renovation of the reception area and lobby, the area in front of the main entrance, the entryway and façade.
